Gomis was a good striker that never suited our style, He has proved it time and time again. He dont deserve the sour grapes and is just as happy and probably happier to finally leave the swans than what the club is to see him go.....We were not playing to the standard that he was playing if the truth was known.....Good luck to him his nightmare is over...
He suited our style perfectly when Bony left . The last 4 games of his first season and the first 6 games of the second season , till the window closed in August , Gomis scored 10 goals .... in ten games ... How did he not suit our style? . Soon as the window closed up shop .... so did Gomis . I'd like to say something about the Britton's new contract but I won't put Gomis and Britton in the same post due to respect for Leon .
Awesome that Britton signed a new contract , along with the news he is guareenteed a management position after he's done playing .
Did you actually see him play in a game at the Liberty and not online? After the first few games he was utter crap and not fit to lace a player like Lorente's boots.
Agree , we under Monk played using a diamond formation which did not suit Gomis at all , yes he was lazy or just not quick enough in thought hence him living constantly offside . There is decent player in him but Monk decided to alter everything and had no idea on how to use Gomis or the team effectively, playing central midfielders out on the wing FFS
Another goalkeeper, is he to replace Tremmel or Nordsfelt. We do like a keeper at Swansea, what happened to that Aussie guy we wasted money on. http://www.football-oranje.com/mulder-verge-joining-swansea-city/
Snap.... http://sportwitness.co.uk/goalkeeper-way-sign-multi-year-contract-swansea-city-transfer-almost-done/
Would it be the end of the world if he didn't come here ? if Llorente were to go or get injured then we'd be reliant on a kid who's still doubtful at PL level.
I think he is a good signing, but wouldn't want him as our number 1 striker. Still think he could get us a few goals and better cover than Baston was last year. I think or should that be hope.
That fat twat Quinn is going to **** his pants again, if this young man choses us instead of Newcastle. I wonder what excuse they will use for this one. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/06/2...ty-in-pole-position-to-sign-coventry-city-yo/
Unless Nordvelt is leaving, perhaps on loan, why do we need another goalkeeper on our wage bill. The third choice goalie is unlikely to play and surely having the under 23 goalie as third choice would be a better option.
Agree mate, makes no sense, unless as you say Nordsfelt is leaving on loan or permanently. does anyone actually know as I said early if that Aussie played at all. Cant remember his name.
I am not sure I get that with Nordsfelt, we bring in an experience goalkeeper to let and experience goalkeeper go out on loan. I get that the life of the no. 2 keeper isn't the best as no game time.
