With respect billy, I don't imagine apoel have ever had a manager with a losing record... it's like managing Celtic on a smaller scale. You or I would have winning records there.

Doesn't mean the guy can't be a success... it means the guy is a cheap punt. Yes I said punt.

 

This is pretty much my take at the moment - not exactly what I was hoping for and definitely a gamble but seems like a slightly educated gamble - well fingers crossed.

Well in the last hour he's gone from having under 2000 followers on twitter to having over 6000 - his phone notifications right now should give him an idea of what's he heading to.....

 

Christiansen played for Barcelona and has 2 caps for Spain.

That means it's very likely he speaks spanish, so hopefully Pep stays and can give him valuable knowledge to help us get off to a fast start unlike last year.

I don't think it's so much slagging him off it's just that his managerial career so far does not fill you with confidence. He will need time to show us what he can do. Let's hope he is successful.

Most danes speak excellent english. Perhaps in the interview with orta and kinnear he was the only one they could both understand.

 

Just looked at his tweets and he most definitely speaks and is 100% proficient in spanish.
