Getting it down to 4% is pretty impressive nonetheless. What did you make of Trump's speech Goldie? I found it frightening.
No Goldhawk you are not allowed to say that as it would be in violation of the 'must disagree with Ellers' act by the usual suspects.

Probably find they were at 6am or something. Saying that there were a few empty seats and stands along the way. he is a divisive character and has upset a few people in this election. I wonder how many would have turned up is Hillary had won. She probably would have got in a rent a crowd.
He started by sounding like Theresa (global elite has let ordinary citizens down etc) and ended by sounding like Adolph in 1933. I think he always overstates his case, which has worked well in his business dealings. The proof will be in the eating. If he shakes some stuff up including in Washington it will be a good thing. The old order will have to justify its existence and the unjustifiable and purposeless will fall away
The global elite bit is a given, no self-respecting right-wing populist can leave that out. His cabinet of billionaires is really going to shake that up isn't it. It was the echoes of the 1930s that I found truly chilling. America first! America first!
why would he not think about his own country first nothing chilling of frightening in that after all the speech was mainly aimed at America just because some don't like him dosent mean he is hitler
What you mean like when the EU says it will get the best deal for the EU? I don't like him and I should know because I went to Disneyland once and I know all about American politics!
Yesterdays politics Trumps speech at the CIA yesterday was embarrassing. I cringed all the way through. Australia is making big noises about a deal and easy access for Australians to come to England (which means less Pol's working in pubs and more Australians (watch out Earls Court)! What is the point of Nick Clegg? Some of the marchers yesterday should get a life and spend more time with the family rather than marching, embarrassing themselves when being interviewed on TV. Agree with most but the anti Trump muppets just need an excuse to moan about anything. What is the point of Madonna? May desperate to visit Trump to get a deal. Ukip standing in Stjoke. A Trident Missile test went wrong and nearly landed in Florida! That will help our deal with the US!
An expected judgement. Personally, I'm delighted that the devolved governments won't have to be consulted separately. Once again, the Wee Lassie will be gnashing her teeth. Things just aren't going her way. The Limp Dems and their 9 MP's seem to think this is the first step to a second referendum to thwart the original referendum result. Think again.
I'm American born and have seen Presidents come and go over the last 50 years. Because the new President is truly an outsider to the political game, he is under a very large microscope, both domestically, from the established politicians, and internationally, by everybody else in the world wondering what he will say/do next. The course he has charted hasn't been sailed by this country since before WWII. It is almost isolationism to some degree. His Inauguration speech was good in my opinion. He said what he wanted to say without creating an extremist diatribe How much the new President can do depends on cooperation of his party members in Congress. They will tamp down his more radical thoughts. However, foreign nations will have to get used to the new look American foreign policy of "we know who our friends are and who aren't". I'm not at all sure what that will mean in practice, but we should know soon.
