Hi Syd, I don't know if you'll remember the names Tom Hardy and NewcastleFTW, they were both used by the same person that Mick eventually banned. He's just appeared again using MikeAshley'sMassiveShlong as his user name ( say's quite a bit about the guy really, doesn't it.) Hi Syd, one of our guys has mistakingly put a message ( Dyer Signed one year deal at QPR ) up on General Chat instead of our board. Hi Syd, a bit of a problem with a stranger to the board. Don't know if you've had trouble with him or heard of him, he's going under Kim Jong Il and his IP addy is 92.236.248.47, he's been putting obscene pcs up on the general board that wouldn't be acceprable on the Sexy Poll. I've removed the offending material so far but think maybe you should see it for yourself to make judgement. Not sure if he's posted similiar stuff on other boards but you might find some of his material somewhere. Cheers, AB.
Hi Syd, just noticed the top topic on the betting forum. Any chance of moving that to the general forum or obscurity. "Horse racing is cruel" It's nothing to do with betting and it wouldn't last 2 minutes on the horse racing forum.
Hi Syd. 1. I've now got the Wycombe lads on side. But I have no control over what goes on on the Colchester board which is where any provocation will be from now. I would have offered to be temporary mod for that forum but a Wycombe person as a mod on a Colchester forum wouldn't go down well. Shall I just keep an eye on that board and alert you to any abuse? 2. It would be good if I could create categories within the forums, particularly the horse racing forum. How does one do that?
Hi Syd, I'm after some advice. The Wycombe forum has not needed any moderating but I notice growing abuse between a couple Wycombe and Colchester fans. I have already removed one post from the Wycombe board because it referred to Colchester as scum in the heading (I PMd the offender gently as he is normally a very good member and I met him a couple of times when I went over to UK in March). Other references to scum and slums have appeared (from other Wycombe posters). I find those terms offensive towards other teams and their fans. It's definitely not one way though as I recall the abuse that the Colchester fans (two to be precise) used to throw at us. I've tried to temper it a bit by trying to encourage banter without abuse but I just get the feeling that it might kick off soon. Should I nip it in the bud now or just let them get on with it? The Hereford thing wasn't an abuse of power. We were getting inundated by somebody ( that Mick has now banned ) wit stupid sick posts and they were only put on the Herford board because nobody was using it. Speak to Mick about it, it seems he knew the idiot from the past and had no hesitation in banning him.
