A very frustrating game if you ask me, to dominate like we did and only get a point!

Gutierrez's crossing was frustrating at times today and Barton's booking was a joke

However, Tiote and Enrique bossed the opposition as per usual!

Shame we couldn't take our chances and we had a very weak bench today.

I think we'll survive after the way we dominated today!

Onto Brum- hopefully martins doesn't come back to haunt us!

Need Leon Best to have a bit more calm and composure, Enrique took too long to shoot after his great run, Lovenkrands **** poor again. Very very very frutrating game, considering the other results too it makes it even worse. Need to go and beat Birmingham now mid week to compensate!!!

I hate to say it, but Carroll would have had a field day today with the quality of the crosses that were coming in. I didn't think Gutierrez was that bad. He and Jose Enrique ran Salgado ragged, but again the final ball was frequently poor.

It was a boring ass game. Two teams playing fairly boring and unproductive football. Would have been nice to win that one.

I'd like to put most of the frustration down to blackburn, it was more despair when it came down to our chances.

Yes hopefully we can't get something more than a point at brum!

SHOULD have won that one, Blackburn were there to be hammered today, a team low in confidence and bad results and they played like it as well, should have beaten them comfortably affter that performance.

whats with all the Guti haters, he had another good game today, he's one of our best players and our only player who can get past other players

Once again Kuqi is not a replacement. He is a temporary measure due to our low striking numbers. If Shola had been playing today, I think we'd have won

He whipped in a couple of decent crosses that most strikers in the league would have been able to convert. He run rings round Salgado and linked up with Jose superbly, and Jose was man of the match due to his link up play with Jonas.

    Give the man a break!

yeah but he offers more to team than crosses, thats what Jose is for, he gets past players and just gives our team that edge that we dont have without him

Carroll or even Ameobi would've profited greatly from Enrique's and Guti's crosses and Barton put a couple aswell in the second half, but with Leon and Lover we don't have that domination in the air and especially with Samba as one of the CB's, Leon looked OK did nothing really wrong but should have done better in one occasion, Lover was disappointing to say the least, just didn't look up to it in the second half but had a decent first half, unlucky not to score a goal.

Overall I'm satisfied with the performance but disappointed with the result, could have won by 3 or 4 if we had been more clinical.

I hate saying it but from what I remember his deliveries were better than Barton's today which were below par. Thought Jonas had a really good game and looked dangerous whenever he attacked Salgado and that's something he's been criticised for not doing enough.

Gutierrez had a good game imo, my only problem with his performance would be his shots. He doesn't seem to grasp that he's not a natural goalscorer and that his shots go high and wide 90% of the time.

Enrique was top class, defending, pace, power, dribbling, passing and crossing, kids got it all! I liked though how every cross that came in the commentator basically said "carroll would of scored there!", funny that seeing as he's out for the rest of the season.
