His Wiki says he's a defensive mid, but other sources say he's a defender. He's scored a fair few goals, which is surprising.

Well that makes 9 players in total. Never heard of this guy but at least he plays in a position we needed some cover in.

    Club career

Zverotić began his professional career for FC Bazenheid as a 17-year-old. He was particularly prolific for the club, scoring twelve times in twenty two games. His efforts attracted the attention of FC Wil, who signed him in 2004. Although he played a much more defensive role for Wil, he played well over 100 games in four years for club. He then moved to FC Luzern, with whom he played 84 games. On 14 July 2010, he was a trialist for Leicester City, but ultimately opted to stay with Luzern. He moved to BSC Young Boys in the 2011/12 pre-season.
    Young Boys

Zverotić joined BSC Young Boys in the summer of 2011.[1] In 2012-13 UEFA Europa League Group A, Zverotić scored a memorable goal against Liverpool at Anfield on November 22, 2012.[2]
    International career

After beginning his career in Switzerland, Zverotić was called up by Switzerland's under-18 side. However, following this, he pledged his international career to his native Montenegro. He played his first match for Montenegro U-21 against Albania on 2 May 2007. On 7 September 2010, Zverotić scored the winning goal against Bulgaria in a UEFA Euro 2012 qualifier. A year later, he scored his second international goal, in another qualifier against England.

jol did say he would get one more player in, not a great window considering we have a new owner, you would of thought he would of made a statement of intent, oh well its going to be a long season, we have enough flair players, just not showing there flair

Zverotic is also his country's second most capped player, with 37 caps (probably 38 after tonight).

It seems like he can be good competition for Riether. If only he could play left back...

Can he not then? The club said he can cover the back line and midfield too.

He is a right back who is right footed. He may be able to play left back, but I'm still a little scarred from our last right footed left back. ;)

However, you're right - I should have said that I hope he can play left back. Seems a little ridiculous that our back up right back seems to have better pedigree than any of our left backs.

I watched Montenegro get a draw in Poland tonight. Zverotic played right midfield - primarily defensive but he got forward in support plenty of times and he had 3 good (long range-ish) shots well saved in the first half.

Overall, while he didn't stand out, he covered a lot of ground and was very aware of the play (and players) around him. Quite impressed really.

Have been reading that this lad is a bit of a legend in Montenegro, and that he is a decent player. Good scoring record for a full back, can see him doing well for us

Well, he is their second most capped player! And he has an eye for goal too, but with decent technique rather than just power (like Riise).
