I do love the last line of this interview.

“We have a very young team who are inexperienced and next season will be much better for us.”

You have a lot to live up to with that one GFZ. ;)

But the fans must, repeat must, be patient.

It would be great to start off like a house on fire, but we should remember that the last 2 times we did this (2000 & 2007) we imploded before Christmas. I would prefer to bubble gently under the top 4 until January then surging through to automatic promotion at the business end of the season. A bit like last year but without the poor start and the poor home record.

What am I saying? With the new singing section, Vicarage Road will be our fortress.......

Someone at the club said that they hoped we remained under the radar for next season. I couldn't imagine how we could do that, but looking at the usual pre season predictions for promotion on other clubs' posting sites it is rare for us to figure.

It seems that our form last season has been dismissed because the so-called 'loophole' has been closed. Similarly GZ is being dismissed as a one season manager because of what happened to him at West Ham.

I really hope we get promoted next season just to rub their noses in it.
