    It's only newcastleunited-mad reporting it, which i neither like as a concrete source or a fansite, but this deal's been coming for a while:

    shame, because i would have loved him to come back to the toon, but it's looked less and less likely as time's gone on (although clutching at straws - now we're back from the US we could also be back in the hunt)

    not if they snap up a couple more players of the caliber of N'Zog they wont. they should have money avaliable to do that too, after the prices they got for young/downing, although i've got a feeling Lerner's going to pull an MA on those funds

    He will he has been pulling the reigns in for a while now. They are a weeker team that last season and last season they were nothing special.
