Bet Arsenal are regretting signing Emery now Not surprised though, he only won 4 of the competitions he played in, to keep a job at Real you need to win 5.
He's called a press conference for 1.00pm, so it's not official, but according to some journo's on Twitter, he has gone. Edit - Now official.
President Florentino Perez has admitted the club were not prepared for this decision and don't know who will succeed him.
Apparently sacked for stirring up trouble within the Real hierarchy. They took him into the boardroom and told him 'Zinedine Zidane, you're rocking the boat'. Danny Baker's gag before anyone complains.
Wonder if this means that Bale will be staying, as the assumption is the reason he wasn't getting played was due to a fallout with Zidane and the way he wanted Bale to play.
I don't understand the talk of Bale not being played, he made 39 appearances last season, he only made one less La Liga appearance than Ronaldo.
Yeah I thought that, started nearly every league game he was available for, but I think did only start 3 or so champions league games.
Im guessing he wants to be starting and to be seen as a first 11 player, not an impact sub or cup player.
He started 20 of his 26 La Liga games, he's not really being used as an impact sub, though he does seem to be in the Champions League games, as Bob mentioned.
