Bobby Zamora 'alerts QPR after fallout with Fulham boss Martin Jol'
England hopeful Bobby Zamora could be headed for a shock switch to QPR after reportedly falling out with Fulham boss Martin Jol.

Struggle: Zamora is reportedly unsettled at Fulham (Picture: EPA)
The Cottagers striker, who is hoping to win a call-up to Fabio Capello’s Euro 2012 squad, has seen his relationship with Jol deteriorate throughout the season, and now reports suggest a New Year exit could be in the pipeline.
‘Jol has a poor relationship with Zamora and it is no secret that they do not see eye to eye,’ a source told Goal.com.
‘Fulham could be willing to listen to offers for him but it depends on what happens with the other forwards and where they are in the table in January.
Zamora is thought to be settled in London, and although West Ham, Crystal Palace and Brighton are all rumoured to be interested in his services, it’s unlikely he’ll be willing to take a step down to the Championship with his England chances still in the balance.
QPR would have no problems matching the striker’s reported £40,000-a-week wages, and although Neil Warnock currently has six senior frontmen on the books, a £4million bid for someone of the calibre of Zamora could prove too tempting.

He's very similar to Bothroyd, but i think Jay is still improving and just starting to adapt to life in the Prem. What we need is a speedy little merchant who is a fox in the box,ala Owen or Defoe!

He's very average Swords. Just don't think he'd make any difference to us. Looked very ordinary last night and he was supposed to be laying down a claim!

i did read in the daily snail earlier that Hulse is interesting Blackpool....not sure whether that is Blackpool Fc or the owner of the Donkeys on the seas front. selling him would free up space for Zamora or Defeo or Aj.

Six senior frontmen? Has anyone seen them? You could play all six and we still wouldn't score all day. Defoe is a natural, Zamora is the type of player Warnock likes up front and those two would be good additions, perhaps a gamble on Jordan Rhodes would be worthwhile as well...

How would Zamora be a good addition? He's no better than what we've got.

Six senior frontmen on the books? Oh yeah: Bothroyd, Campbell, Helguson, Hewitt, Agyemang and Hulse... Senior???

Zamora seems to be getting a bit desperate. Seem to remember him saying something to one of our players about wanting to join Rangers after the Fulham debacle as well. £40k pwk? You're having a laugh.

I'd prefer Zamora to AJ , think he has a bit more about his game and would suit our style more.

If not Zamora then can i ask who you'd prefer. Lets not forget what size club we are and how much we will be spending to strengthen our team.
