He looks good for Palace, seems to take every chance he gets.

Seems to fit the model for type of players we're looking at. Maybe p/ex Ranger (wishful thinking).

What an odd player, can cover striker, winger or left back.

    Sign him up!

No he's not prolific at all, was just about to say this. Worth a go though, skilful, fast. Gotta be better than Loverman, Shola, Ranger.

Pretty sure I've heard he is meant to have massive potential, but so was Moses who was also from Crystal palace but he has hardly taken off (albeit in a poor team)..

Id still take him for anything under 4 million would be good back up if anything and could even turn out to be a bargain if he comes good!

You always have to look at the previous season really, in which he scored 4 and got 5 assists in 13 apps, I wouldnt be surprised if quite a few of them were off the bench so not bad at all for his age.

    Edit:
Wait, them stats are off this season...

    5 goals now I guess. :D

Making the right move at the right time is crucial. Moses did neither, but could still be a good player.

Probably pay up to £3m for Zaha.

True, over 10 mil for someone with no Premier League experience and hardly set the championship a light is crazy, maybe something like 4mil max.. Although to be fair to Wickham he hasnt seemed to been given a chance by brucey!

Yeah I cant believe he went to a team who create so few chances and set out to defend alot of the time, not a good move for a striker wanting to prove themselves in the top division.

I'm not saying he wouldn't be worth getting, he looks quaility, just that he isn't prolific yet. But let's get in there now while we can.

The editing in this video is a disgrace, spent most of the time having a seizure from the ridiculous cutting and could barely tell anything about him.

Edit- you're going to tell me you made it now aren't you? <laugh>

He's being tracked by Chelsea, Arsenal etc. so won't come here.

Alright guys Palace fan in peace.

Just want to say you've got Slim to Zero chance of picking him up for the fee's being bandied about at the moment. The guy is a different player to last season. He's been absolutely lighting the championship up and has been arguably the reason we've had such a good start to the season. Not only is he an assist machine, he's added the ability to score goals to his game too. He has ripped numerous teams apart so far this year and is a genuinely special talent, arguably has the consistency that Moses lacked already, but it is early days. He signed a new deal until 2015, and our owners have no intention of selling our best players for an absolute pittance. If he goes anywhere it will be for big money. Not a slight at you guys but there is absolutely zero chance we'd even give you permission to have his boots for prices 4 million or below. We don't need to sell, he loves the club, loves the manager, loves playing for us and wants to stay here. It would take a genuinely staggering offer to get him.

Best of luck this season though lads, hope you can keep up your good start to the season. :)

Cheers, but I think we'd be looking at around 10-12m for a striker rather than 4m or less. Not saying we'd go for your lad or that we'd be likely to get him, just correcting your estimate of our bid. Our owner seemed to be prepared to fork that out on Ruiz (assuming that it wasn't just a 'ruse' if you'll allow that stellar pun). Mind you, if it's staggeringly stupid money you're after I'm sure Liverpool will be on their way soon.
