Yesterday my daughter had some friends over and they were busy doing stuff in the kitchen when a bird flew into the window and died. We boxed up the bird (I buried it today), the girls were all a bit girly about it, sad that it had died but found the dead body a bit gruesome.

My missus then served them up their lunch. Chicken.

I've never taken to the taste of sausage, salami etc. There's a few Halal deli places around here. Problem is they don't seem to expand as businesses, much it seems. I mean they sell sarnies and Jacket potatoes and not much else.

Imo it's because they are not made properly for the halal market. So sausages are just fatty and awful

I make my own stuff now and again and trust me with quality ingredients it's all that and more

Don't know about the delis you speak of but the ones I have seen in Bradford, brum etc they are not what I mean. I mean proper Jewish and Italian style ones you find in america

I just think they lack a bit of thought. Very simple. I want to walk into a Deli and think I've got alot of choices. They don't even offer 1 foot sandwiches like Subways. So much to infuse. It's like the Ice-cream parlours...they have improved alot. Now the Asians needs to put some thought into Delis

Have this discussion with mates who have takeaways etc

They are all the same. No one wants to do something different

The dessert places were good oncr but again they stay the same

Yup...exactly what the issue is. I find that Asian men lack creativity at times. They just want money coming in and no speculating to accumulate and going a bit outside the box.

I don't have the financial luxury of starting such a business but I've got the thinking to come up with some great ideas.

Hit me with some ideas bro, I'm looking at starting something up again

But yeah the asian community only "follow when safe". When I started working for the council others started to apply. Prior to that very few did locally

With the food element many youngsters open a place in Monday thinking they gonna make it by wednesday

After a hospital stay my lad did a huge **** that was virtually solid. 17 flushes and breaking it with a toilet brush got rid of it, eventually

    Fortunately I was out
