At last Harry, Neville and Carragher seem to realise how good this guy is.

Tenacious - in a nutshell. Would be great to see him have a good couple of games against Chelski & Man City.

He was on top of everything down that wing tonight, and some great blocks too.

Can't see how Harry can pick anyone in front of him for that position now

Not hindsight but never understood why Harry never played him. Can't remember who he played against last season but was MOM and Harry dropped him next game.

    Splendid.

I'm happy and we have a left back. I wasn't sure as he hadn't played many games for us. Mightily convinced after the last two games.

The back four are starting to come together. If we can get Ned fit and staying fit i think we should be okay. It is a shame we got rid of Simpsons as i would like to have seen him at right back and Isla pushed forward. That would also mean Ned going in next to Caulker in the centre, giving us a pairing that could last a good few seasons.

Thought he looked a little scrappy to start with and was getting worried but he came into his own and would have been MOTM if it wasn't for Austin's class finishing!

Middlesbrough I think, and yes, he was dropped - terrible man-management at the very least. Hopefully as has been said, he is 1st choice from now on.

Just got back thought Yun was our best player tonight, though also think villa were the better team but couldn't score if we had played for a week, but I said earlier I'd take a **** performance and 3 points, that's what I got

We were certainly worse in the first half, not so sure about the second. Definitely lots to work on. Many (maybe most, maybe all) other teams in the league would have got at least one goal against us today. Too sloppy in the first half.

Apart from 40 seconds second half when we passed the ball and Vargas should have scored, we didn't play well, but agree with most of what you said in your observations

Yun was simply class. Beggars belief how he never got a game in the championship.

mate, we played well enough. It was a considerable improvement in both tempo and commitment. Compared to Chelsea we're pony, but measured against previous performances tonights wasn't at all bad.

Yun has been pretty good in all the games I've seen him play in. Shame it's taken Harry & co so long to realise how good he is.

Should have been present from the off. Shame we let Simpson go as both Yun and Simpson would have been strong fullbacks throughout the season.

Despite being at the Middlesborough game last season, perhaps Harry missed watching this club video and just got around to screening it:-

He was outstanding on the ball - nice flicks. cross, good head, read the pace of ball well... great to see. My MOM by some way.

Another decision where Arry just comes upon by accident/events?! Energy, youth its not rocket science.........Like playing two upfront Arry... we are a different team.

Id like us to play 2 upfront all season now but he wont and if not we will not get a pont away all season. We are also better to watch with two upfront and Id rather lose 4-3 than lose 1-0 with no shots.............

    His enthusiasm is infectous.

We have had a Korean that wanted to play for us from the day he signed. Amazingly, he has kept that attitude even though he was harshly treated by us.
