Sorry if I have missed it but where is he? No sign of him on the Ireland trip even though Remy was there.
Yun has done everything right, as far as I can see. Yet he's never quite had much luck at QPR in terms of getting a proper chance. I hope he does get his chances now.
He was on an extended break that is afforded to all players who appeared at the World Cup. He Cesar and Remy returned last Sunday or thereabouts.
And still it's only me who thinks we need a left back? I think we look scarily weak in that position. There is absolutely no fact supporting Yun to succeed at left back/wingback.
I don't get why Harry doesn't play him. He has to be one of the best bits of business we have done in while. Bags of talent in and international player. Yet Harry would rather play Clint Hill instead. who has said himself his legs have gone and shouldn't be played in the left back position
Perhaps it's just a fitness thing. Yun played at the World Cup and may not need the time on the pitch as much as others. I'm assuming that the fitness levels of the players are being constantly monitored. Yun should still be relatively match sharp and compared to others and he is probably as fit as anybody. However it will be interesting to see how much he is involved today which you assume would be a bit more of a dress rehearsal.
The world cup players at other Prem league clubs are not being played either... - Man City not fielding any of theirs tomorrow.
I would like to see him given a chance as he has impressed whenever he has played. How he would get on in the LWB role I don't know, but you don't know until you try!
