I appreciate it is very early in their careers but it worries me that our future youngsters both got hammered at the week-end by Liverpool despite us playing at home.

Under 18's lost 1-5 and the under 16's got absolutely walloped 2- 11(eleven). I'm hoping the relevant coaches say some positives that can be worked on otherwise they'll be shell shocked long before they get near our development squad.

Heavy defeats can do a lot of damage to a young footballer.
Hope they get back on track.

Root and branch style shake up through the club regarding coaching maybe needed?

Huge catchment area for youth, but not many progress and have sustained top flight careers. We buy in youth and it fails to develop (Bigi, Abied, etc). Something must be wrong somewhere in the system.
