    Nonsense.
    Xabi Alonso is a Liverpool fan.He loves the club,loves the city and would never join them.Its pure nonsense.He wants to stay at Madrid...He would never join their feeder club.

    Regardless, 29, 1 2 good years left, past his best, not in our model going forward and certainly not interested in paying a large fee either. he gave us one cracking season, hardly a legend though a very good player, not what we need

    No.

    I believe he has too much respect for Liverpool Football Club.

    Absolute non-story.

    They've also had Heize,Horseface,Golden Brains and the winker.All they've ever had from us is players apart from Macca that were either at the end of their contract or got a little bit old.

    It's the case of a Man United fan with a vivid imagination.

    When they moved to Real:

    Heinze = 29
    RVN = 30
    Beckham = 28

    Macca = 27
    Owen = 25
    Alonso = 27
    Arbeloa = 26

    Which of those were getting a little bit old?

    I doubt the Alonso-Utd rumours will come to anything. I personally don't think he'd fit our style of play, and can't see SAF going for another DLP after Veron struggled so badly for us. I would chalk this one up to Spanish radio having a slow news day...

    Swarbs stop talking sense. You are making the assumption that United are Real Madrid's feeder club false. Also by what KPR says when you leave Liverpool the only way is down. Might as well just get one last pay day at a smaller club like Madrid...

    When you leave Liverpool in some cases the only way is down.In Michael Owen's case it was.He left Liverpool to win the CL...only for Liverpool to win it.Possibly the best move he ever made.He left Madrid to join Newcastle where he was injured for 3 1/2 seasons when eventually they got relegated,and he left them on a free to join Man United to become a 4th choice striker and played a hand full of league games,and got a two medals for it.Both of which were unearned.He's also scored more goals against his current club than he has for his current club.He's also never scored against Liverpool.He's scored however 140 goals for Liverpool.
    The only player to leave Liverpool and be successful with RM was Macca,as he won two European Cups.

    Owen has scored more than 14 goals against United? What planet are you living on? Owen does a job for United, and thats good enough for me. I hope he stays because he has more experience than any of our strikers. He has won a League title and it will stay with him for the rest of his life. That is one more medal Stevie G will ever win. I think Alonso and Arbeloa won't be regretting leaving either. If Owen had stayed he would have won two trophies. He has won 2 trophies since he left.

    Why do you sing to Owen 'Where were you in Istanbul' then? He has played for Real Madrid and United. Two bigger teams than Liverpool so obviously at them clubs his game time is going to be limited. Not to mention he has been very unlucky with injuries.
