I'm sure all you Saints fans will be delighted to see that Lawro has predicted a 2-1 win for QPR at the week-end, which guarantees at least a draw for your lot <laugh>

Seriously, I know it's still early in the season, but I think this is a massive six-pointer for you.

What do you think the result will be?

I gave up predicting football results years ago but I do hope we get something from this game.

I really haven't seen QPR this season so I don't know how good they are but if we can play like we did against the Swans then I am optomistic that we could get at least a draw.

The unpredictability of football is both a curse and a delight but is probably why we all enjoy it so much. Anything can happen!

This match (whilst not a season decider) will give us some idea of where we are in the pecking order. We can claim that we have played the top sides early in season, we've had no luck, been denied penalties we've had important injuries, we should have beaten Swansea etc etcetc (yawn), but we are now playing a poor side with all our players back. I know it's away from home, but we should get something from this game if we want to claim that we are making progress. I'm going for 2.1 win with my heart.

You're right, it is a six pointer, League positions clearly dictate that. But whilst our home form this season has given plenty of reason for optimism, our away form has been woeful so far. Needing to get something from the game doesn't translate to an improved likelehood of actually getting something.

We need to get something from the game, but so do they, and they're at home. I'm hopeful, but in a pessimistic way.

Strangely, I'm feeling pessimistic about this one, but with an element of hope.

Hold on to that hope, Chilco. It's a commodity of great value.

If we are seriously going to stay up, we need to be beating the teams around us. I don't think losing will send us down, but a poor performance and a loss I think will be an early sign..

Also be very bad for morale. Think we need at least a point to build on last weeks improved performance.
