Hmmm...will he walk when in contract? I think he is too decent a bloke to just give up on us, tho at times, it must be frustrating being a manager. Fulham will do their own research. If we push on a with a fine run of wins....to the surprise of most!...and scrape in, we will have a new vigour and commitment. MM will stay in Suffolk, which he clearly enjoys at the twilight of his career.

Much depends on our approach, attitude and team selection from the whistle. Same faces as last game, forget it!
Make no mistake, either ME gets behind his man after a frugal 2 years and MM offers himself up for a frontal lobotomy and undergoes a radical change of team tactics!!

I can see it happening, would be gutted if it did but he would have left us in a far better place than he found us.

the next question is, who would replace him? my vote would be Lambert or Warburton.

Interesting. I'm generally for keeping the same manager if progress is happening, which I believe generally we are making under Mick. Cannot argue it's been a disappointing last couple of months however.

Main reason for this, new managers want their own players and this often means a major squad overhaul. I think should Mick stay, it would be more of the same in the summer probably with the midfield the area that needs addressing and a RB this time. Quite small tweaks if you will.

That said, we'd receive quite a large compensation package and potentially have 2 or 3 large sales this summer so if Mick were to leave, perhaps we'd be spending decent transfer fees this summer.

I really want Mick & TC to stay to finish the job they have started <ok>

I dont want all the turmoil that will inevitably come with finding a new manager and new coaching staff etc.

Mick is the best manager we could possibly have imo.

Well I for one would be gutted. Don't want to have to start over with someone new again. To be honest names being mentioned don't fill me with joy, especially lack of goals Lambert.

Like Warky said I rather see the job finished with MM and TC and PLEASE some investment.

I dont want to see investment, it would just be wasted on 2 more Jay Tabbs, 3 Cole Skuse and a Frank Nouble tein thrown in for luck!!

This whole lack of investment is not strictly true.

Our wage bill is the 6th highest in the championship at present! We've spent a small fortune on wages. Transfer fee spending is minimal though.

I am convinced should Mick stay, he will be after midfield options left right and centre ( literally ) this summer.

totally agree with westie, we really aren't that far off and Mick knows this. the big area this summer will be creative midfielders, unfortunately they are the hardest to find on the freebie market.

I reckon Tommy will move on this summer if a bid comes in, which might mean we look at either another CB or full back or perhaps both.

Pleased for Tyrone to spend his ££££ how he wishes, but he's so big time. Just keep it internal don't do the whole " look at me " thing. I will be delighted when he gets sold in the summer.
