So... assuming our squad will be as it is... how would you set the team up and who would be in it?

Given it's City I'd say maybe 4-5-1 but with the same formation.

    ----------------Riviere----------------
    -------------De Jong----------------------
    Gouffran---------------------------Cabella
    ----------Tiote------Sissoko-------------
Haidara----Colo-----Williamson----Mbiwa/Janmaat (Janmaat hasn't started yet, and if he doesn't soon, then he should be eased into the side. Mbiwa by default.
    ----------------Krul----------------------

4-2-3-1 with De Jong behind Riviera in a number 10 role.

    Lmao.

Wonder who this could be and why you're so obsessed with a small club? Very apt that such a **** has bush in his name <ok>

Oh - and do people who have multiple accounts still get banned?

This wouldn't be far away for me. The main bit I'd be worried about is the CB's though. Not sure if having three of them instead would help or hinder. If we had a 3rd in there I'd go for Williamson alongside these two but my concern would be that would just push us deeper which was one of our main faults today. We desperately need MYM to fulfill his potential - and probably a new CB to go alongside him.

Agree with what you say about the CB. Mike & colo should definatley start. I could imagine him not starting with cabella also ensuring the midfield 5 is alot more solid. Sissoko on the right then anita in the middle for me. Keeps the ball all day long

    First 11 for me are...

    GK - Krul
RB - Janmaat (our only option)
CB - Williamson (does the simple things right, something Taylor or Colo seem to struggle with)
    CB
LB - Haidara (massively impressed with him in pre season, streets ahead of Dummett and Santon).
    DM - Tiote
DM - Colback (really rate Anita and he's better on the ball than Jack but Jack has more of a presence)
    RW - Sissoko
    AM - De Jong
    LW - Cabella
    CF - Gouffran

For me the only place up for grabs is the spot next to Williamson. Colo, Taylor and Mbiwa have all had a woeful 6 months.

Colo was terrible today, for a player with his experience he ball watches constantly.

Taylor is a show pony and Mbiwa is just too much of a risk at the moment.

Up top I've gone with Gouffran as he has a canny knack of being in the right place at the right time, he's a busy little player with a bit of pace and has scored a couple with his head too. Not convinced about Rivierre personally.

I don't think I'd have Colo as captain either, Tiote revelled in that role last season and should have the armband permanently.

But that is Gouffrans natural position. So Pardew is hardly going to play him there

    God no

This is what Pardew will do but he will play riviere up front on his own which won't ever work and Gouffran would start with Cabella starting from the bench.

If he comes on he would play him left wing back again

Colback is ****e I'd rather play Sissoko and Tiote in the middle .

Call me old fashioned but one upfront is for good teams that have a striker capable of doing it which we simply don't.

The truth regardless of what we think pardew won't change his ideas even if he loses 14 games from 17 he keeps at them because of two reasons.

    1. He's an idiot
    2. He's arrogant

    an arrogant idiot !
