The coverage on BBC of the SA qualifying matches for the world cup is non-existent, so I'll have to fill you in. Last night Messi finally played for Argentina like he does for Barcelona as the Argies crushed Ecuador 4 0 at home, he scored once as did Aguero, who got booked for a dive that Ashley Young would have been proud of. Venezuela got a great result drawing 1 1 in Uruguay and were good value against a team with Suarez and Forlan both playing. Chile did really well beating Bolivia in the altitude of La Paz 2 0. Today is a huge game for Peru at home to Colombia, with our team decimated by injuries, no Vargas, no Pizarro, no Farfan, but our talisman captain Guerrero will be leading the line and we will be flooding the midfield a la Hodgson to frustrate Colombia's creative players and their on form striker Falcao. I'll keep you posted, vamos Peru!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh yes, and Paraguay are resting for this round of games, there used to be 5 matches each time but Brazil have already qualified as hosts.

Will do SB, sadly Brazil is the only country financially powerful enough to actually hold on to young talent. It's amazing that Neymar is still playing for Santos, but expect a move to RM after the world cup
