With Pompey having the week-end off this week, what will you be doing on Saturday?

Going to a local non-league match?
    Christmas shopping?
Doing all those DIY jobs that you swore you'd get done 'soon'
Hiding at the pub from the wife, in order to avoid the DIY jobs/Christmas shopping
Sitting at home with your feet up in front of the telly

    Christmas shopping for me.

Nearby where I live is Selfridges- when I walked round there in around June/July, they'd already put out their Christmas things, so perhaps I'm a late buyer of Christmas stuff ?? <yikes>

I'll probably end up buying something nice for my Parents/Amanda from Selfridges, and the rest of my family who live in portsmouth, who I'm seeing Sunday, will probably have to make do with gifts from poundland, it's all I can afford right now! ;)

The Handball European Championship, held in Serbia, starts 3rd December, and Norway are playing some warm up games beforehand, so I'll probably watch the matches on television, once I'm back home.

You can follow the matches on any Norwegian news website, if you'd like to. Unfortunately, Team GB didn't qualify this time, so why not support Norway instead ??

For any Norwegian speakers- watch this interview video from the Olympics this summer. Amanda wouldn't do that in reality, I assure you (and hope so!) <laugh>

Have a good weekend, whatever you're doing!

Telly all the way. I've been getting up early to watch the test match and, after a lie in, I'm going to watch sport until it's coming out of my ears.

They have been showing Indoor League, with Fred "I'll si'thee" Trueman on ESPN classic lately.

Your birthday this week Hermanator? Happy birthday - it's mine this week as well, Thursday.

Will be at a party Saturday night - someone else's birthday party though.

Happy Birthday to you both <ok>

I've got a strong feeling I may be dragged off Christmas shopping by the missus this coming weekend, unless I can come up with a decent, believable excuse <laugh>

    i heard a good line refering to those DIY jobs around the house;

When a man says he'll do something he'll do it! he doesn't need reminding every six months.

I'd hate to ruin the mood of this thread- but did you know, the best way to cure morning sickness is (apparently) oral sex!

So this could be your lucky day Pieking, if you're in to that sort of thing :p

In terms of what everyone watches on the TV- what do you like to watch that's exclusive to Christmas time ??

A personal favourite of mine is watching"The Snowman" on TV- brings back memories of watching it as a young lad.

What do you watch around Christmas/New Year time ??

Haha where on earth did you find that out? Though oral sex is the best kind of sex! <ok>

I may be going out with a friend on the weekend, it's not confirmed but hopefully it'll happen.
