I have to say I don't mind it when it's a cup victory etc and when smaller clubs release DVD's over wins against Premier League/Championship opposition but I have always thought showing meaningless league wins against opposition makes a mockery of the club. I was glad we didn't do it even after beating United 5-0 and Arsenal 5-0 in the CC.

LOL. That one was hilarious! Apparently they ended our title challenge (which had ended in Jan) that year too.

Probably released because they only beat us once a decade!

Apparently they cost us the title in 08 too with 4-4.

Shows the extent of their ambition: denying others the title!

There was more of a case in 07/08 but in 08/09 we were at no stage going to win the title anyway. Besides for me it was the game in hand vs Wigan which we drew 1-1 in the last minute that really ended our hopes, If we'd won that I am sure we'd have gone on to win the league <ok>

    That was 2-2 wasn't it?

The only full stadium they ever had because Whelan dropped prices to £10.

What a sad old thread. Why does it matter? The club obviously think there is a market, or else they wouldn't do it. Imagine the box set we'll release this year if we win the league!

We should be flattered that Spurs see a 1-0 win over us as such a major achievement.

It;s like us beating Real or Barca

Desperate for the money as usual and end up stiffing their own kind, I mean who else would buy a 1-0 win DVD <laugh>

You are missing the point. That was a game against probably the 3rd best footballing nation of all time behind Brazil and Italy and it was in a qualifier. Whether you support England or not (which I don't) everyone will remember where they were on that night, just as everyone will remember where they were when Liverpool drew 3-3 in Istanbul.

I can hardly say the same for a 1-0 loss in a meaningless league game against Spurs <laugh>
