Hey guys, well i am currently writing an article about how at times the Football League can be seen to just be a feeder club for Premier League teams, and i just wondered is there any clubs in paticular you feel you have become closer to? Any clubs you have regular loanee's from. And how many did you have in total last season? I know its random but i just want to make sure i get my facts right about each club so i have numbers for each division. Really appreciated, and i hope you don't take this as spam i do take my individual articles seriously and i do enjoy the research aspect, so helps welcome
Not that I find it a particularly attractive relationship, and actually, I wish they'd bugger off, frankly... Arsenal
We don't get regular loanees from any team in particular. We tend not to rely on loanees tbf. And to the post above by the Second Stain - when was the last time we had a loanee from Arsenal?!?!
Guly do Prado - Cesena Nicholas Bignall - Reading Richard Chaplow - Preston Dany N'Guessan - Leicester Dale Stephens - Oldham James Shea - Arsenal
I think Second Stain is making reference to the fact that Arsenal seem to feed off us, like a parasite! Thing is, living in London, their fans tell me they didnt even want AOC, just seems a Wenger fixation to sign our youth team. But hey ho, , that amount of money for a 17yr old?? Easy money!!
We've loaned a fair amount of players to Bournemouth in the past (and in the case of Doble, the present), but I wouldn't say that there's any club who we regularly loan players from. I guess we got a few from Liverpool under Burley, but that's all in the past now.
I think we should feel close to whichever club takes Puncheon on Loan. Very close if we become a 'feeder club' to QPR
Don't think loans are popular with Saints at moment, but of above loans we signed two good players, Guly and Chaplow. The rest scarcely got a look in.
