If you had to pick three ex-kits of ours (home, away, third) for United to wear forever, which ones would they be?

Agree with the home & third kit there. Loved that 3rd kit from the moment we wore it against Blackburn when the croud wouldnt sit through Matt Busbys 1 minute silence do to the FA failing to acknowledge the death of the great Don Revie. Only thing I would change is the second kit for the rare Strongbow/Nike BLACK kit that only got a run out in a friendly. Theres pics on the net but i cant upload them on the work lappy, and you can check it out in the Peacock. Philhleeds showed me last time I was up!

Ideal 1st kit would be pure white as in the sixties with no yellow & blue trim,& wear it whenever possible away from home too. Can't understand why we wore yellow away to palace when there was no need. You never know, wearing the famous white could have inspired us to the win we needed for a play off place!

I think it's under some kind of contract clause that the away kit has to be worn a certain amount of times.

Oh and,as well as the pure white kit,we need those numbered sock tags which if I recall only Leeds United seemed to wear(well we started off the trend I'm sure). Also, tracksuit tops with players names on back, when we'd line up in middle of pitch at away grounds & wave to crowd, kind of saying 'We are Leeds, acknowledge us.' Got to respect the audacity of that!

Could easily be replaced by the one at the top though. I just love all-white!

Would replace the shorts to match the shirt though.

Think it was actually a fake. Still looks cool though!

^ From what I can gather it was a fairly widely produced kit that was never used.
