when all the wovles back 4 ran out at once leaving 3 or 4 players offside it looked an obvious decision....but it was onside because the player who recieved the ball came from deeper. shocking decision but the commentators never mentioned it or even had a second look. could be a costly decision for you.
Just thought id mention it cos havent seen many of u complaining about it, and like i said the commentators never said anything either, strange one
but if u had scored the peno and got that goal awarded you would have still won even after playing poorly!. cant believe your just accepting it id be livid if it was my team!
My son spotted it as it happened said straight away he's onside. Think the reason none of us has made a big deal of it is the fact we have finally watched the end of Bruce's tactics.
past being pissed off mate it's been happening for months now, were just happy that was the last game of the bruce era and now hopefully we move on to bigger and better things
If you are one nil up and have a penalty to make it two then within 5 minutes of missing the pen find yourself 2-1 down you deserve all you get and no luck was deserved. He'd cheated for the pen and should never have taken it. I don't agree with the fouled/DIVING player taking it unless it's Gary Lineker. However it was given and in Football you make your own luck. Wolves did exactly that with the handball goal. We keep on making stupid mistakes and this is a game we should never have lost we had weathered the storm and were on top at the time of the Pen. The whole team need to look at themselves. Surrender is not the word!
I suppose your right..but the way i look at it when leeds play **** is that playing **** shouldnt always mean losing. we quite often sneak something after being off the pace. good luck with oneill anyway
To be fair, the commentators did mention it briefly. It did piss me off a little, especially as I think it was young Noble who ran on to Elmo's pass and put it in the back of the net. Would have been a great time for the lad to get his first goal, in front of the new manager and everything. But as others have stated above, you make your own luck. We didn't deserve anything from that performance at the end of the day.
bout time young Noble got a full game, on a few mins had a ligit goal, Bendy was woeful Nobels a better option at least he knows where the net is
Rog, I've read many posts & understand the emotion. Your right about Noble as the change should have been made with 20 to go not 4! For over two years Black has stood by and watched as poor tactical decisions have been made, culminating in his setting up of team today. I firmly believe everyone has witnessed what will be his last day at SAFC & a couple of players that will be shipped out in January.
your right there mate, still we have a manager now who will improve us, lets face it we cant get any worse
No one will ever agree on who to ship out but I'll tell you now some will be shocked & others glad. O'Neil will not carry any liabilities in his squad. With a history of lean & trim squads a number will have to go. Serial offenders & slackers beware.
