This has probably been done a million times before, but as that time comes around again, of crossing swords with our"friends" from down the road, it started me thinking, how did i get this excited about our match ups, & when did it start.
For me as a kid my first home victory was a 1-0 win in the FAcup thanks to an early goal from Keith Bertchin.
But the match which will stick with me most & started my "i'll feelings" towards our friends was a mid week cup match at Portman road, & a picture that will remain etched in my minds eye forever as Loui Donowa & Mick Channon played piggy in the middle with big fat Paul Cooper down our end, before Channon got bored & put the fat bloke out of his torment........priceless<cool>
