Your Favourite Spurs moments in the EPL?

  1. Spurs 4 - 1 Man Utd, 1996. (Our team sheet was comical!)

  2. Jurgen's 4 goal blitz V's Wimbeldon (6-2) to secure our survival, 1998.

  3. Allan Nielsen diving header, Worthington Cup Final V's Leicester (dire game though!), 1999.

  4. The King scores in 10 seconds V's Bradford, 2001.

  5. Spurs 5 - 1 Chelsea, WC Semi-Final, 2001.

  6. Eboue and Gilberto run into eachother and Keane nips in to score V's Le Scum, 2006.

  7. Kab's last-minute equaliser to salvage our 125th birthday party V's Villa, 2007.

  8. THAT 4-4 draw at Le Library. Wenger's face at the final whistle, 2008.

  9. Spurs 5 - 1 Le Scum, League Cup Semis, 2008 (see above regarding AW)

  10. Spurs 9 - 1 Wigan, 2009 (You'll never see so many identical goals!)

  11. Crouchy 1 - 0 Merc City, 2010. Beanpole's finest moment.

  12. Bale's Hat-Trick V's Inter, fell in love with him there and then! 2010

  13. Spurs 3 - 1 Inter, 2010. One of those magical European nights, Taxi for Maicon!

  14. Le Scum 2 - 3 Spurs, 2010. Wenger becomes first man to send a bottle into orbit.

  15. Crouchy 1 - 0 AC Milan, 2011. I think my head went through the ceiling when this went in!

  1. Evenin' all.

Just thought I'd try my hand at one of these fancy Poll things. Just thinking back to the antiquated 606 way of doing them makes me shudder...

"4 stars if you like Berbatov"
"3 stars if you like Keane"
"2.789 stars if you're a BBC Mod without any friends"

    <homer-simpson-sees-patty-and-selma-and-shudders-smiley>

So, congrats to the architects of Not 606 for living in the 21st century, and here it goes...

As is obvious, Im interested in your favourite Spurs memories from the Premier League era. I've selected 15 of my own personal best- feel free to disagree and add.

    Enjoy!

The Young Boys Second leg for me. It just wouldn't have been as fun, if we'd already all but qualified. As it's not on there I went for Crouch against AC Milan. I was so happy! Beating Milan at the San Siro was an excellent achievment in itself but being the goal that took us through to the CL quater final, the only minus is that I didn't get a ticket.

The only comparable moment for me was when we spanked Chelsea 5-1 but I think they tonked us about a week later which taints it :-(

Just reading this poll brings back great memories.

I went for the city 1-0. The sight of the away support bouncing up and down, looking like they were about to make the stadium collapse through the force, with the whole team celebrating in the foreground, will live long in the memory.

Honourable mentions to the 4-4 vs goons, the 3-2 vs goons and all the games against the milans.

Was that when you came from 3-0 down to win 5-3?

And yes crouch scoring at man city was a superb moment!

Voted for the night we ripped the European champions a new one.

But I have particularly fond memories of the 5-1 Chelsea game. Because it was such a thorough thrashing. Even when the ball bounced off the ref at one point it just went straight to a Spurs player. And at one point Leonhardsen (?) set up Rebrov for the 5th and the crowd sang "One - nil to the substitutes!". Chelsea then quickly got a consolation and, with barely any hesitation, the crowd just started singing "One-all to the substitutes!". I loved that.

I've just looked up the team for the 4-1 win against Man Utd in 1996:

    Ian Walker
    Dean Austin
    Sol Campbell
    Stuart Nethercott
    Colin Calderwood
    Justin Edinburgh
    Darren Caskey
    Ronny Rosenthal
    Chris Armstrong
    Teddy Sheringham
    Ilie Dumitrescu

Whoah! Austin, Nethercott, Caskey...all in the same team at the same time! It's like a super-group of ****. With Rocket Ronny providing the flair.

What the hell was the formation?

Gotta vote for the 1-0 against City last year to secure 4th and CL football.

Been plenty of great memories since the PL started though.

Surprised there is no option for the CC victory against Chelsea in 2008 though.

Initially my head was clouded by events of the last couple of seasons, but as King says, in recent times, a cup win is a cup win, and that particular win ensured the mouthy Chavs that season won....what was it now?....errr!, it'll come to me in a minute!....oh yeah!, fuk all!!!...in fact it was Runner-Up misery x3 for the tossers! <laugh>

I voted for the 2-3 Scum game for obvious reasons with Crouchy's at City making it a hard decision for me.

Though my favourite moment which isn't listed (unless I'm blind and can't see it which I wouldn't rule out) is the 2-1 vs Chelsea Carling Cup Final, the first final I've been to and what a day it was. Never seen so much emotion when we scored that second goal, Woody's face also made it even more spectacular! <laugh>

For me it has to be, Spurs 5 - 1 Chelsea, WC Semi-Final, 2001. Although I wasn't at the game, I watched it in a pub in Brighton sitting at a table with 3 other Spurs fans. The pub was full with about 30 Chelsea fans and we got some serious stick from this lot before the game started. As the match unfolded we got louder and happier and the rest of the pub got quieter & quieter. Then the excuses started.

    Sweet! <laugh>

It's another vote for the invisible Chelsea Carling Cup Final from me, I'm afraid.

I'd had a long, **** day and was forced to bolt into the nearest pub to watch it, which turned out to be full of Gooners.
I was the only Spurs fan in there, other than one young lady who was happy to see someone else supporting the same side.
We started well and I think that's the only reason that I didn't get too much stick from the locals, other than when I called out for the obvious handball by Bridge.
They all disagreed, the ref didn't, the replays certainly didn't and the rest is history.

After the game I rushed off to the Brixton Academy to meet some mates and watch Megadeth.
A crap start to the day turned into an excellent one all round.
Quite drunk, extremely happy and totally knackered!

for me it was more a week, than an actual moment. The week where we beat both Arsenal (for the first time in AGES, thanks Rose) followed by Chelsea!
Was at the arsenal match, and was offered a ticket for the chelsea game but had a friends birthday, grrrrr.

That whole season was good actually, went to about 8 home games and had a for/against record of something like 27-3, winning all 8.
    Wigan was also pretty good.
