    <cheers>

    So many to choose from..

Was it being "weird" or unique" ?

How about when the protesters were labelled "the Negative 2%" <laugh>

Maybe the one where Meire compared Luzon to Sir Alex Ferguson ?

Or when Peeters appointment was justified because he played for Millwall?

Or maybe it was "{....}" or just "huh" from Roland, or Karel being described as the "interim" head coach.

Then we get onto the players..

"try that one" - RD's advice to Powell before the Sheff United Cup Tie.

Or maybe "Solly is not good enough" or "Yann is not good enough" or "we got a transfer fee for Morrison"

And finally back to Pinnochio herself, and her famous comment that every new manager was a "success" because "it improved our ranking"<laugh><laugh>

You couldn't make this stuff up <cheers>

Here is my current favourite Regime Quote:

" They handed out papers to say how ****ty I was to my parents. And they hung up papers in my village" - Meire

"I should not say this, but the history of the club- I do not care for it".

"My name is Katrien Meire. I am CEO of Charlton. Why do you think our club is badly run?"

"OK we got the managers and players wrong, that happens. That's why clubs get relegated. It doesn't mean everything else we did was ****ty"

"We had too many managers in a short time"

"Why can we not educate fans towards respect of everybody in the game?"

"Obviously (giggle) there were several candidates (giggle), but it became clear during the evening that he was the successful one"

How about at the famous fans meeting with Rich Pemberton (<doh>), when she gave her poor Powerpoint presentation and was dressed like Marcel Marceau

    To Pembers:

"Who is chairing this meeting, me or you? Just ask a question" <laugh>

On the comment from Chris Powell that Duchatelet interferes in team selection:

    'that would be mind-blowing"

'We have learned from our mistakes'. Embarassing in itself, but they keep repeating it as if they think people will believe it next time.

So much lawyer-speak. So many misleading half-truths. Take all these statements together and add the fact that she clearly feels that she is entitled to get away with presenting a false picture whenever she likes, what you have is hubris of Ozymandias proportions. She should pay attention to the old saying Pride comes before a fall.

my personal favourite was the notes being passed to jacko during a game with instruction (probably from RD via stream) on how to play.

There's an interesting "Ted Talk", How to Spot a Liar. When liars smile like this, it's because they believe they've got away with it, and there are a couple of interesting examples. Our so-called CEO is another perfect example needless to say.

"We have learnt from our mistakes"

Having to repeat that over and over, every couple of months is the antithesis of learning your mistakes.
