Morning all, i've got work in a bit, i thought i would discuss my thread title, my favourite non-United player is Xavi, he's just a world-class player player, he hardly gives away the ball and he does score goals on the odd ocassion, he's helped Barcelona and Spain win the major trophies over the last years, its unfortunate he's in an era when Messi is around.
Player I've always worshipped from afar is Paulo Maldini. I know he no longer plays but he was just a sensational footballer. Current player who I covet and have for a while would be Bastian Schweinsteger. In the premier league, I really rate Leon Britton, a great little player with a proper story. Premier league rivals players? None, **** 'em.
Messi is my favourite non united player, simply because I love watching him play. I never used to watch much La Liga but now I watch it most weeks, particularly if Barca or Madrid are playing. Premier League wise I'd have to say Thierry Henry, he was a great player to watch aswell
Don't really have any favourite players anymore. They're all c unts who detached from reality and I'd gladly knock any of them out.. Plus I only really watch United and the premiership so know f all of continental players.
Before the days I had sky I used to watch alot of Italian footy on C4 on sundays. Always enjoyed watching Batistuta, Maldini, Weah, Signori (sp) and Roberto Baggio.
Good point Eric.. I too used to watch said Italian footy on C4 loved del piero back then modelled my side burns on his.. Batistuta was quality and vialli. Vieri. Maldini though was probably the classiest defender ever.
Only if the Glazers float your club on another exchange, then you'll be able to afford the down payment.
More prolific, but is the worst (in a technical sense) diver I have ever seen - so unnatural. You have to wonder at the sanity of refs who gave him penalties last year.
Young hasn't done it since SAF gave him a bollocking about it. The last one I remember was QPR last season. So at the moment Bale is the more prolific, hence why he's received so many bookings this season
Omar Gonzalez, Landon Donavon, Mike Magee, Juninho. If we're going off teams I don't support then either Juan Mata or Dembele.
