Iam a loyal sunderland fan through and through and I read a lot of posts on here but rarely say anything but from what I have read today I just feel the need to speak up... I've read a lot of people saying today we were a lot better, positives out of the game, we created chances, and the one that really got me going was people saying Adam Johnson played well!!!! Here's my opinion on it, today was just the same as every other league game we have played this season set up as a defensive unit no clue really going forward never created anything, just relyed on a deflection from a free kick and a rebound from a corner, can someone tell me a chance we actually created?? Mon has no plan b, were okay all the time it's 0-0 and we are trying to bore teams to death but as soon as we go 1 down we have not got a clue how to go about ourselves, it's the same performance week in week out, win, lose or draw, how can we expect to score goals with only 2 players in the team that want to go forward, one being sess the other being fletch. The others including Johnson are just not good enough going forward! Now this has brought me on to Johnson, what does he bring to the team apart from the odd flash of brilliance he might produce every 5 or 6 games... No pace, no real skill, no strength, and no work rate.. Yea he might sometimes jink past a man but very rarely, why would city get rid of him and bring in Scott Sinclair if he was really any good bearing in mind you have to have a certain amount of British players in your squad?? Don't get me wrong I was just excited as everyone else when he joined sunderland but I hadn't actually watched him that much I had just gone on the odd subs appearance he had for city. Maclean is awful but at least he try's and he runs at people unlike Johnson! In my opinion we need rid of mon before we get relegated because in terms of quality we are the worst team in the league and I no a lot of you will shoot me down in flames saying I'm just putting a downer on things jumping on the bandwagon but if you wake up you will realise we are a dire team in a lot of trouble!
I've been saying this for about 6 weeks now. MON has had his time and the game has passed him by. Time for a new manager, preferably foreign, who will give us a new style. O'Neill has to go though because at the moment I'm convinced we will be relegated.
Lol you no what your talking about dont you mate? Make a lot of sense! Why don't you be the next sunderland manager?? Knobhead
