On the sky sports 'ticker bar' its stating that we have signed 11 players on scholarship, the deals also include two England Youth Internationals.

Cant be a bad thing for the future if any of the kids can make it.

Any news on the Academy changes yet? After a four month search we got Chris Sulley in who was going to revolutoinise the whole academy.His contract didnt get extended & I expect Redfearn to take the role over.

 

Am i right in saying all these lads were at the club before? We havnt actually got any new lads in?

 

I think your right. I think they have just been offered the first steps towards a professional contract.

I think the club has done right by giving Redfearn a deserved promotion.

 

I love to see the club investing in the future, but without class 1 academy status are we a sitting duck.
