I can remember reading a thread on here (think it was wiz's) about when we signed him and the hype behind him signing for us. Supposedly a very talented lad and the amount of youngsters we are hearing about at the moment within the past year is amazing. 2-3 seasons ago we didn't know hardly any youngsters but at the moment it seems to be the only bright spark of this season. I hope he does go to the U-20 WC and again perhaps another one we should be forcing into the first team squad. Especially for the Charlton game. I personally would just send out the young players. I bet the travelling fans would rather see them than the team we have watched all season. Give them a go SOD.

Ah New Zealand, the only undefeated team in the 2010 World Cup.

Honestly, given our status as a League 1 club and his status as a gifted footballer I would like to see him play first-team football next season. From what I hear, he's been fantastic and given his age I'd love to see what he could do in a real match, instead of letting him linger in the development squad. He'll be rough around the edges and he has no experience in any first-team outside of Guernsey, but I reckon 10-20 minutes here and there throughout the season, with a potential loan move to League 2 could prove invaluable.
