Adam Smith scored for MKD's- contender for goal of the week.
On the flip side Steven Caulker was arrested in Swansea for a public disturbance, but was later released.
Bet I know who had a better weekend.<whistle>

Yeah - just saw that myself. It's amazing, really, that with with two England U-21 right backs and Naughton and Charlie all miles away from game time for Spurs that we had to play two kids out of position as full-backs last week.

Still, January's coming and it's not right that Spurs haven't bought a right back or two for the last couple of windows. Maybe Chimbonda'll be available...

    Thanks for video Ensil <ok>

It was most annoying we didn't have a decent RB v Rubin, but at least Corluka is back now.

Sorry Ensil, but PL got there first with the article, if not the goal itself.

We also have Nathan Byrne out on loan at Bournemouth, who's another young right-back.
Strange really, as we only have one true left-back in Assou-Ekotto.

Naughton can play on the left I think, but like you say, it's not his chosen position.

At least it's in the same ballpark as his chosen position, unlike the various right wingers pressed into service there lately.

As for Caulker's arrest, that surely boosts his credentials for a place in the England squad, given John Terry is currently helping the police with their enquiries, whilst the likes of Wilshere, Carroll and Gerrard are all current members of the squad to have a few in-depth conversations with their local constabulary...

So does this mean our now "famous cloning" system only produces RBs?

We should probably ask Steve Carr and Stephen Kelly...

It seems all the right backs we send on loan score wonder goals from range
