... can play down the left or in central defence ... think it unlikely myself with Schlupp and Bakayogo as LB cover and Mahrez also adding to our host of 'lefties'

 

He's a Centre Half, and a very highly rated one too.

But, we don't need him. Centre Back is probably our second strongest position behind Centre Mid. Who'd have thought that at the start of the season?!

 

Seems left-back is his 3rd choice by what that is saying, just sounds like a Miquel clone.

 

He's a good player, seen him a couple of times on the telly when Chelsea were in the Europa League last season, but agree that this one doesn't add up at all. Was Konchesky injured against Derby and are we looking for some cover? I would have him in the team but don't think there's much point adding senselessly at this point- anyone remember our other young Chelsea loanees a couple of years back? Van Aanholt and Bruma? I quite liked Bruma but there wasn't much point to his signing and the fine print to these loans really hindered our form. I'd have another winger off them, however, someone like Lucas Piazon. Sounds like Juan Mata wants out...

 

Liam Moore is apparently drawing a lot of Premiershp interest - not surprisingly - but he is now one of the first names on the team sheet IMHO

How long is Miquel's loan?

Could be that it is only until end of Jan and this guy is the replacement.

Or it could be that Morgan is going...

 

Morgan is 100% definitely not going.

He wants a season in the Premiership, and we are currently his best bet.

And no Premiership club would come in for him, seeing as he has no Premiership experience...

 

Miquel's is a season long loan.

Apart from the lapse by both him and Morgan against Bolton for 20 mins, i agree that hes been a top steady performer this season, like Morgan.
