Sadly, probably! On the subject of sponsors, it would be very interesting to know the views of those that are associated with City and indeed the Premier League at the moment in relation to 're-branding' football clubs. There is no doubt 'Barclay' are playing on the traditional values in their advert. City have numerous local sponsors big and small and if they have City fans amongst their high ranks their support for the club may be jeopardised. Combined with a considerable loss in the club shop, Allams 'Project' is likely to lose money in the short term!
You do know Barclays are a bank don't you? You know bankers work at and run Banks? You also know that those bankers would look you in the eye while screwing the last penny you own out of you?
