Don't worry now that the rules of the series have now been laid out we will kick your asses in the rest of the tests. Let the opening of hades begin
Somebody seems upset. Maybe if your ancestors had not been criminals, you would be on the winning side! Oh, and it's 'arses', not 'asses'.
I just shared a beautiful moment with my next door neighbour who is a Kiwi. Indigenous one, not an immigrant or convict. He was almost as happy as me. He even did a bit of the Haka for me and finished off with "UP YOURS CONVICTS!". Was incredible. Anyhow, considering Agar should have gone on 6, and considering the Umpire didn't give it out, and no Aussie ever would ever walk, sod off ya whinging aussie.
It's funny you know, try as I might I don't recall you posting similar about the two HIGHLY suspicious ie wrong decisions in the first innings that went your way. Equally there weren't many Aussie fielders saying 'he nicked an inside edge and it CLEARLY changed direction, stay where you are mate' as lbw was given.
How exactly did we cheat? If you're on about the Broad incident, then why didn't Haddin walk when knew he was out this afternoon? Let's be honest no Aussie would walk off if he wasn't given out. The DRS and Snicko was correct. There's no cheating involved in Haddin's dismisal. Just bad fortune. In which England also had alot of- swings and roundabouts in sport. Broad may have time wasted before Lunch, but the Umpire told England to bowl another Over afterwards. Which was a Maiden by Swann. Your batsmens fault for not scoring. Going back to the Broad incident. Agar should've been given out before he spanked us for 90 odd in the first innings. And Trott was harshly given out also. Again swings and roundabouts. If your players hadn't bollocksed up on some dodgy DRS appeals prior to that, you would've had him out. Note to Aussie camp- use DRS wisely. If you're going to go on the country of origins (as you Aussies are now doing) then Agar is originally Sri Lankan. I hope if you beat us the English fans are more gracious in defeat. Aussies will be up for the next Test at venue they like. Should be entertaining. May the best team win.
Am I reading this right? An Aussie moaning about cheating and bad sportsmanship!! This silly **** needs to have a word with himself. Fair enough bodyline was out of order in it's day but since then the Australians have been by far and away the most unsporting, aggressive cheats in world cricket. Apart from Pakistan, maybe. Nah, it's the convicts.
Cricket ? i just realised its a thread on cricket . . . isn't that a crappy sport to remind us the footballs over
Wrong! Adam Gilchrist was given not out in a World Cup semi-final and walked off saying he was indeed out.
It is the responsibility of the umpire to declare if a batsman is out or not out. That is why he is there. That is why he is paid. It is the duty of the batsman to follow the direction of the umpire. If Broad would have walked he could be reprimanded for bringing the game into disrepute for not showing the umpire the respect he deserves. By the way Hades requires a capital H.
