we'll now how to move to the right and scroll down less on teamtalk.com and skysports.co.uk totally worth it! we might even get more than a minutes worth on whatever highlights show we're on next year
No more Watching Paint Dry trophy. No more first and second rounds in the FA Cup. No more being ignored by the BBC, even though we've been top for ever. (Jury's out on that one) No more five line reviews with spelling mistakes in the majority of the Sundays. No more paying on the gate at away games. No more 1000 supporter restrictions at away games. No more watching matches for under twenty quid. (Season Ticket holders excepted) No more cr*p referees and linos. What am I saying... Any more anyone?
Sadly, no more terraces for the most part (I think Peterborough's is still there, but it's the only one left above League 1) One thing we will have to endure - international breaks, which mean the Premier League and the Championship don't play, whereas Leagues 1 and 2 carry on. No more will we see the Jimmy Seed Stand empty save for 50 odd hardy fans of the likes of Bury, Rochdale or Yeovil, it will be much fuller every week.
OK then, maybe that's being a bit generous - Two column inches in the MoS, with a two cm square picture of CP Two and a half lines in The Sunday Times. And no picture. Disgraceful. What a relief to get out of this god-forsaken division.
The Sunday Telegraph had a full article on our game, it wasn't particularly long but it was something at least. The Sunday Times is awful, wait for Monday's edition, when there's a decent write up in The Game section
How true! Just rubbish Championship refs instead. I have seen some appalling decisions even in the Premiership lately, though I think usually it has been the linesmen to blame. No excuse really. I know running the line is harder than it looks, but it is ten times easier than being in the middle and needing eyes in your arse. These guys ought to be doing a lot better, So, SIG, I think you may be somewhat disappointed.
it cant be as bad as in L1 though. you must remember the goal that wasnt given where the ref pointed it as a goal, then SCP spoke to the fourth official, then the ref spoke to the linesman, then it was a throw in. or something like that?
I must say, the ref,and we've had some crap ones recently, dunno who he was, but he was very good yesterday.
You're right Stu, the ref was decent on Saturday. -No more being a big fish in a small pond -No more shouting out 'who?!!' every time an opposition team sheet is read out -No more empty 'London-bound' platform at Charlton station -No more teams putting 11 men behind the ball and kicking your players off the field
Jimbob, no, you're think of Braindead, but they'll be parking their (nicked) caravan.[/QUOTE] The wheels on their house go round and round, round and round..... Tea la la la la
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...h-other-over-Premier-League-payment-plan.html Some (from 2 years ago) analysis of the diffs financially between the divisions.
The woman in the picture...If all Hull city fans look like that then I'd have been happy with them going down
