...we've just beaten Chelsea at SJP and then we've beaten Spurs in their own back yard.

Home games against Norwich & West Brom look totally winnable now, right?

Including the away trip to South Wales following these next two home games, how many points do you reckon we'll get?

I honestly think we'll draw with Norwich and lose to both West Brom and Swansea! It's just what we do after great results!

I reckon we'll get either 7 or 9 points provided Remy stays fit.

I think the players now realise what we can achieve if they work hard every game so see no reason for this to change against Norwich.

I think we might draw with West Brom but we'll beat Swansea.

West Brom will be very tricky. I honestly think 4 points from these next two home games would be a good return. Away at Swansea will be tough, a point would be great.

Anything less than 10 points from the next 3 games then Pardew should go.

I'd like to think we could beat Norwich, but you just get the feeling after they beat West Ham that they're starting to turn the corner...

West Brom look really good under Steve Clarke who, by the way, is in his first managerial job! I thought they would really struggle without Lukaku this season, but an ageing Anelka and the goal-shy Everton reject Anichebe (or however you spell it) have done enough along with the emerging talents that Clarke has unearthed.

Swansea don't look as strong this year despite major investment in their squad... Europa League curse?

I still think we'd do well to get a point there... in Europe! <whistle>

Its never as easy as it looks on paper.

If I'm thinking positive, I am going 7 points which would be an excellent return. I reckon a draw with Norwich, followed by victories against West Brom and Swansea. Swansea have a tough run leading up to us. They have a home game on the Thursday against Valencia who will be out for revenge, followed by Man C on the Sunday away, then us at home. 3 games in 6 days, plenty of travel, we know how tough that is. In Norwich I think we might find a team buzzing from Saturday, and I fear a "we should win this" attitude from our support which did us no good against Hull. West Brom will obviously be tricky, but I think the extra two days preparation we have to them might be helpful. I think it will be tight but maybe we can squeeze one by the odd goal.

If I'm being negative, then I am going with 1 point. A drab draw at home to Norwich, with a counter attacking masterclass by West Brom following (Anichebe doing his usual against us), and a miserable trip to Wales after that.

If we can get anything from 4 points and above out of the next 3 games I'll be happy.

I think Swansea will be our hardest game. Not the best of away days whatever way you look at it. The journey seems to take forever too.

Hoping to get to that game because it's only about 3 hours from me. Need to make my mind up soon though while there are still tickets available.

I'd really like us to stay undefeated for the run with at least one victory in it. Shameless optimistic, but got to be at least 5 points for me, if not 7. Newcastle will be top 4 by Xmas. We just won't stay there.

Can't see it myself I have to say. We are notoriously inconsistent. Its not a bad run of games coming up to Xmas but they are by no means easy. We have home games with Norwich, WBA and Southampton. We have away games with Swansea, Man U and Crystal Palace. Lets not forget this will be the first experience of English winter football for quite a few in our first team - Sissoko, Debuchy, Gouffran, Remy, Mbiwa. For all we might like to think it doesn't make any difference, history tells us its a bit of chastening experience for foreign players. Murderous runs of games played in interesting temperatures with no prospect of a break on the horizon, tends to play with the mind as much as anything else.

We''ve put ourselves in a nice position. Hopefully we can kick on. I do feel slightly more comfortable we'll survive this season despite a lack of strengthening in the summer. I was worried when the window closed we'd done so little attacking wise. I feared it would handicap us along with the scars of last season. Full credit to the management, coaching and playing staff though, they have really dug in and got us on an even keel. Whether we can do that as the games mount upand injuries come is another question though. We are still sitting uncomortably with a lot on Remy's shoulders at present.

Not so much our consistency as the inconsistency of others. I don't think Southampton or Everton will keep going, but there's enough of the top 8 playing each other that might just open up a small gap for those of us who've already had to play them. We were incredibly lucky to come out of this period where we are, no-one would have been surprised had we still been on 11. Similarly Arsenal have lost to a poor Man U, who continue to look average. City haven't got going yet, but appear head and shoulders the most likely to do so. Spurs can't score, Chelsea look sluggish. The teams they have to play can raise themselves for these games - Hull, Villa, the Welsh - it's not as cut and dried as it's been previously. I mean, it WILL start to pull away. Injuries and fatigue will start to really hurt that bottom half bunch, but I don't see why we can't profit from that. I imagine our crew are actually excited at the thought of playing at Old Trafford this year, we've always been traditionally ok there. And the rest of the matches are potentially winnable. Yes, I know, I know - that doesn't count for spit and kind of contradicts the point; I just think it's been a strange season so far and I can see someone profiting from it. I'm probably wrong and Southampton are going to be the ones who take advantage, but by Gods who'd have thought we could even be entertaining these kinds of conversations?!

Just got my ticket <ok> Can get a train up there but no train back so going to have to drive which is a bit annoying. Would have quite fancied a few pints to keep the old vocal chords going!

Think this could be the case as they are likely to strengten from a position of strength in January. However they do not have masses of depth. Everton are similar.

Personally I think this is where the bigger squads with a depth of quality start to really kick in. I think the likes of Man U, Chelsea, Man C, Spurs will push on the peddle. Whereas I think the likes of ourselves will get a few injuries and start looking a bit toothless as bits of the team stop functioning. Attack is the major concern but I still think there are issues at the back. We have a bit of strength in the centre of the park but not masses. Same with the wide areas. Not trying to be a naysayer but I just think we are limited.
