As far as I can see we have two choices ,stick with Adkins relegation or not and get behind him and team regardless of results or get experienced premier manager in sooner rather than later who MAY keep us up, as a saints fan with no loyalties other than the club I find it hard to choose as I think we may well go down with Adkins due to his lack of experience but will a different manager make a difference , if pushed I would stick with Adkins and accept the fact we will go down but with a fight
Why ? If we are relegated why would we keep him ? We would sell all our best players , this is not a Blackpool situation at all .
I come on here to see other peoples views and express mine not to be given or give a spelling lesson you must lead a very sad life
You can't comment on a theoretical situation like that. Especially without past to reference. We've never been relegated under the Liebherr/Cortese regime so we do not know how they would act in terms of re-organising after relegation. Therefore, we can only wait and see.
I know one thing relegation is not a good thing to keep your top players so we have to stay up to advance , that's obvious .
Not me, I'm fine. Why not take the trouble to spell the manager's name properly, it's not difficult. Anyway, to answer your point, we don't have any choice, it's up to Cortese who the manager is, not us, all we can do is back whoever is in the hot seat. Personally, I still back Adkins.
But people can speculate of positive things like players coming through , academies and the like It runs both ways .
No they should not, IMO. Ryan Seager looks a good talent, but we can't say if he's going to be a top player yet. People are saying JWP "has the potential" to be like Scholes etc. If they are saying he "is going to be the next Scholes" then I agree with you. However, similar to above - you are not saying "there is the potential to lose some of our best players". You are saying "we would sell ALL our best players" - which you simply do not know. So whilst we have some common ground, I still don't agree with the original point. But I'm not going to get unreasonable or personal here, I've tried my best to explain my view and hope you catch my drift!!
