Derby County have sacked head coach Paul Clement after just eight months in charge. Chairman Mel Morris said Derby had "not made enough progress" under 44-year-old Clement (who was previously assistant manager at Chelsea and Real Madrid). Academy director Darren Wassall will take over for the rest of the season. Know they've been on a poor run since they beat us on Boxing Day - and have to say they looked a quality team in that match - but can we read into the Chairman's statement that drawing at Fulham isn't good enough these days? And of course he's not the first to go this season after close contact, one way or another, with us.
