http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18845159 Wondering if the Willian deal is just a matter of oneupmanship. AVB was always going to get his comeuppance for attacking the Roman Empire.
Well, we have always been interested in Willian, and I think it was a genuine possibility, but I wouldn't be surprised by it. Either way, watching Spuds get all hormonal is hilarious.
Maybe its Roman's way of saving money? Let Spurs pay for his flight over here, put him up in a hotel and pay for a doctor to run a full medical, then once the doc gives him the thumbs up we swoop in and seal the deal We gotta save where we can, what with FFP and all!!
Maybe RA should buy a flat in Chelsea so all the players we are rumoured to buy, can stay there instead of Hotels. We'd save a fortune, and get the capital gain on the property, win/win !!
And one in Rottenham to accomodate all those the Spuds are interested in! They'd never make a signing!
I can imagine AVB and Levy fuming. Seems to be a dual war between them and Mourinho & Abramovich. Had it just been Liverpool that bid, I don't think Mourinho would have sanctioned any bid. He has too much respect for Rodgers to do so. Have to agree with Levy, I think there's an alrerior motive behind the move albeit Willian is the type of option we need. Likely Ba will be sold with Moses out on loan.
Don't you know? This is all Mourinho's fault. Nothing to do with Levy's incompetence and dithering on the deal.
I can agree this has been a problem in the past but knowing who Willian has as an agent I don't think we done anything wrong this time We also have Baldini now which explains most of our smooth business this summer. I don't think people should underestimate what a great acquisition he was
Agree with that post. I heard Baldini was initially in the process of tying up Willian but went away and then when Levy was put in charge there was lots of haggling over payments and agent fees.
Kia was all for the deal to go ahead and then suddenly demanded more for his 'work' - that was part of the reason for the hold up which ultimately led to this.
Has he signed yet or is he still deciding (waiting for a better club to put in a bid)? EDIT good club was a bit unfair, better would be more realistic.
If you've really been a synthetic for 51 years, then you should be able to work out how long King Os has been supporting Chelsea
Well my Dad is Bigger than your Dad (polar bears usually are) and I've been supporting Chelsea for a hundred years....no a billion years so na na na-na na.
