Seems they are not happy with lampy for sending out the B team today, why he would do that shows poor management to me, I actually thought they might go all the way, phew thanks lampy..

Personally pleased he got out of the Mickey Mouse competition.Congratulations on four in a row BTW,I used to watch Ipswich in the 70's and 80's.

 

I suppose we will start to see the old "play offs" threads starting to appear soon ?

 

It wasn't our B team Lambert fielded, save for Holt, Naughton, Ruddy and Surman it was the best team, injuries accepted that Lambert could have fielded. At the end of the day we just had a really poor game, and that's what disappointed me, not if Lambert got the tactics wrong, because I think he (And I did too) thought the team was good enough to beat Leicester at home.

I'm not going to pretend I'm not disappointed the result, because we played almost as poorly as you have done at times this season. But all we can do now is move on and hope for a much improved performance against Manchester United and maybe at the end of the season a midtable finish, which incidentally is probably the best you can hope for too!

To be fair Ipswich banter is pretty poor

 

It is good humoured banter on here and hopefully nobody takes it too seriously.

 

I'd like to think that the top Budgie lads like Beefy and Treacle are always welcome on our forum, the Budgie forum appears to be in meltdown now after yesterday, I can understand why they would wish to avoid it...

 

We all have a laugh at ourselves an each other.

Life is too short to be take this forum too seriously.

 

One weekend of "meltdown" opposed to over 1 and a half seasons of "meltdown" on here.
