I'm fed up of pundits and commentators coming with the "You can't let Arsenal play their passing game 'cos they will ...." phrase. The truth is that what most teams do against Arsenal is precisely to let "play their passing game" knowing that when it comes to the business end of the pitch, you just need to resolute and organised and our players will just be passing it in front of the defence. To keep coming out with this is lazy. We don't have the quality throughout the team, nevermind the squad to make this style of play work for us in all games.
You would think with that midfield we have, we could still pass the ball like we did but that is clearly not the case. Maybe it's the wings again, the likes of Hleb,Rosicky and Nasri kept the ball for fun, we lack those type of players on the wings these days. Although that is not all bad, we do have players who are now more ruthless in front of goal. (Podolski and Walcott).
