  6. why do architects use 3-D lines on 2-D drawins? really ****in annoys me. also ma extend tool has stopped workin the way it used to.

    its always surveyors that use 3d lines i find. i always use 2d. dont use autocad for 3d because its **** at it.

    is it trimming to imaginary extensions of lines as well as the line? mine does that sometimes.

    why is it that autocad sometimes decides to change your settings all by its self sometimes in the middle of a drawing? does my tits in.

    type the following commands:

    "tr"

    "e"

    "n"

    should fix it for you

    im using autocad 2004 so it might have changed if your using something more recent.

    i have 2009 at home and its a ****. the boss wont update any time soon he retires in 22 days so he's spending **** all. maybe ne new guys will upgrade.

    i was doing a ****. has worked for me in the past.

    dont really see the need to change from 2004 it does everything we need it to.
