You have just qualified for the World Cup in Brazil and now you have to choose your 23 man squad.

You have to pick 3 keepers, 8 defenders, 8 midfielders and 4 forwards.

    Who do YOU pick?

Ok, so with the fact that our first team couldn't beat a second string germany team, that we have no outside shot of winning the tournament, and that a lot of the "Old Guard" will be out soon and a new passing style will be attempted . . I would take:

GoalKeepers: Joe Hart, Fraser Forster and Ben Foster

Defenders: Kyle Walker, Micah Richards, Phil Jagielka, Gary Cahill, Phil Jones, Michael Dawson, Ashley Cole, Luke Shaw

Midfielders: Leighton Baines, Andros Townsend, Adam Lallana, Ravel Morrison, Ross Barkley, Leon Osman, Jack Wilshere, Wilfred Zaha

Forwards: Wayne Rooney, Rickie Lambert, Saido Berahino & Jermaine Defoe

    With standby list:
    John Ruddy
    Kieran Gibbs
    Theo Walcott
    Peter Crouch

Yes that's correct, I would not take Lampard or Gerrard, they've had 10 years to get it right, and yet we are still overrun, still don't make the right passes, still don't keep possession and still don't create space for the pacier players . . . and if a new passing regime is to be started the new kids wont learn anything from playing with them . . they would do better to utilise the skills of Wilshere, but as he's been hit and miss, I would also take Osman who has been consistantly good for years and did absolutely nothing wrong in his last 2 appearances for his country

And yes I would play Baines on the left wing . . I think Roy Hodgson's response to my question about it shows his complete lack of vision and if anything proves once again that when risks need to be taken he's not the man for the punt . . . suggesting that you could never put 2 left backs on when you have an ashley young or danny wellbeck in your team . . . tosh, Redknapp did it with Bale and he turned out ok, and besides, i think about 75% of the country would be happy to see the back of ashley the diver and the danny "where's the ball gone?" wellbeck!

Daniel sturridge plays well with others for liverpool, but does not seem to be able to transfer that to the international scene. Andy Carroll would be blown up for everything, he's too aggressive. Will Hughes would be very unlucky not to get a call up though!

I must of forgotten that James Milner existed back then. Otherwise he would've definitely got in my squad.

Your football team is not called Wales, it's called Bales.
