Sorry for your loss mate. I think the whole movember idea is important, gentlemen's cancers don't get anything like the same level of publicity as those which effect women. Plus as blokes we're very much of the 'ignore it and it'll go away' persuasion.

I'm happy to humiliate myself with a lopsided patchy moustache if it means that it raises awareness.

My step father was a season ticket holder at Portman Rd for over 30 years, as his cancer took hold he still went to football, even if it meant that the stewards had to help him to his seat, my mother nursed him until the end, even now, there's some things she won't tell me about, suffice to say that the end was drawn out and painful, (despite the morphine)

He was buried in an Ipswich shirt signed by all the players, and his coffin was carried in and out of the church to "Singing The Blues"...the church full of Ipswich lads...

Despite losing 6-0, your fans were a credit today and some great banter showed between the two sets of fans. Somebody was going to get a tonking by us and unfortunately it was yourselves. Definitely think Mick McCarthy will sort you out. Good luck for rest of the season, apart from against us in the return match at Portman Road.

I am really concerned for you guys now, normally with a new manager you get a lift that takes you out of the drop zone and beyond. It is not happening with you.

I am a betting man, well a little bit and I am looking for the best odds now for you guys to go down because I really think you will at the moment.
