    Are the owners really that reluctant to spend? We all know they're not stupid and I understand them being a tad wary, but I can't help but find this all a tad baffling.

    I guess we'll still have to wait and see what materializes, it's looking a bit bleak at the moment

    Pathetic and desperate deal. Benayoun can **** off. His career took a dive when he thought he was bigger than us and ****ed off to Chavski. He's been a pile of ****e since. don't want him back, we're not that desperate ffs

    Jesus christ calm it kermit. He was sold to chelsea, he didn't ask to move. He was told he was surplus to requirements. And he hasn't been **** since he left, he was injured for a year and then done extremely well at Arsenal last year.

    Slightly harsh, he was injured for a season with us and was a decent squad player for Arsenal. How exactly is moving clubs thinking your bigger than the club you left? <confused>

    As said on other thread... he would be welcome by me if cheap... but he's not good enough to replace anyone in our current starting XI unless Rodgers is losing confidence in Borini... which I find unlikely given that he starts so many.

    Don't mind that, Pleat called Coates, Curtis. It sounds like Coats, but is pronounced Kwates. Did you know that Seb is half Scottish hence the surname?, but it has got a South American twist.
