Copied and pasted from the Yorkshire Post. I think City's transfer business compares well with our Yorkshire friends (and Leeds). What do you reckon?

    Doncaster Rovers
Ins - Tommy Spurr (Sheffield Wednesday, £200,000), Richard Naylor (Leeds United), Kyle Bennett (Bury), James Baxendale (Leeds United)
Outs - Wayne Thomas, Dennis Souza, Byron Webster (Northampton), Ryan Burge (Port Vale).
    Hull City

Ours certainly look the best of the bunch, but Leeds aren't finished yet whereas we are

I didn't realise Barnsley had got rid of Shackell and Colace, they don't look to have replaced them with much either. I can see them going down this year.

LEEDS...You can add Snodgrass, Gradel and maybe becchio to the OUTS list if the rumour mill is anything to go by.
If they do then Leeds will also struggle. What a shame. Not.

People will still be unhappy at our recruitment until we sign the Negredos

I'm surprised by the lack of activity at Middlesbrough, but they finished last season strongly and I think they will do better time.

    Thanks mate <laugh>

Our business certainly looks the most conducive to mounting a promotion challenge out of the given teams, but considering 2 of the 4 relegation favourites are among them, I'll stay modest

I worry for TWS - Schmeicel, Johnson and Kilkenny out (Gradel & Snodgrass possibly to follow), with Rachubka and Brown as their only incoming players. It aint looking great for the mighty whites <whistle>

Indeed they have. Becchio may also miss the first few weeks of the season as he requires surgery on a hamstring problem <laugh>

Barnsley have signed ex-City defender Scott Wiseman!, let's face it he ain't good enough at this level and neither will Barnsley be IMO.

We've done the best business on that list by far. UTT
