please log in to view this image Goals in League 1 are worth more for the Yorkshire Post than goals in the Championship. Hernandez doesn't even make the bench. http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/spor...e-our-starting-line-up-for-2015-16-1-7952450?
They've obviously made an effort to get someone from each Yorkshire team in. They're a bit pointless these XIs because if it was the top 11 players it actually would be nearly all ours.
A Yorkshire XI would consist of us and Boro players, maybe with the odd Wendy thrown in. Crock of ****e this.
An attempt to be diplomatic and include players from all teams in Yorkshire, as said our team should be team of the season.
It's a flipping newspaper serving a large area, trying to keep everyone happy... Not a dissertation. You bunch of drama queens.
In a "pick the striker" plan, it would be reasonably standard to pick the guy with the most goals. Especially if he is in the highest division in the sample set. They could have got away with skipping the rest, but the omission of the easiest to measure is a bit daft. They got the other 2 City players right though.
What's the ****ing point when you don't do it properly? What a waste of time. What would the proper one be? I couldn't do it properly because I hvent seen enough of other teams but I'd go McGregor Odubajo Dawson Davies Robertson Huddlestone Livermore Snodgrass Diame Clucas Hernandez
I read that the Yorkshire Post has a smaller circulation than the HDM so mainstream media is probably stretching it.
You can bet your last quid if Leeds had been promoted they'd have had more than 2 shagging players in the team. It'd be full of the ****s. Biased West and South Yorkshire ****ers and to think that nugget Mussy used to spraff his load over that ****house Sully or whatever he was called.
Lee Camp got in there because he's probably seen more action than all of the other goalies put together.
You'd have to have both of our full backs plus at least one of Dawson or Davies. I'd only maybe put one of Boro's centre backs ahead of one of them. Livermore, Diame and Hernandez would be in there since none of Boro's attackers did much for a promoted side. Out wide there are probably others who can make it ahead of Elmo and Snodgrass since neither played a full season and Huddlestones start to the season would see him miss out. Keeper could he McGregor who's had a great season but there's probably others too.
