The home stands may be pay at the door but I'm sure our end is well and truly sold out... although they had to drop the loyalty points from 100 to 50 then 25 the last I heard.

I'm going!!! Back up in York after a golfing trip for rained off so figured I'd cheer myself up by going to this. Let's just hope we cheer me up ha

 

We're at Donny tomorrow, what is it with us sharing transport routes this preseason? Nee bother in the states though, both sets doing us proud so far.

What did I take from last night? Our fringe players - Satka, Ferguson and Bigirimana are poor. Satka is a dreadful defender and was woefully out of his depth against the York forwards. Granted, it was just a friendly, but I have not been impressed with him anytime he has played. Ferguson is shocking defensively, but he was decent going forward and put in some quality balls. Bigiriman - Played out of position but was giving the ball away and making needless mistakes. The promise that he once showed has sadly gone. Time to get rid.

Gouffran - Dear god. The guy is woeful. His passing is shocking, he's slow and his vision is non-existent. Get rid asap.

Abeid - Fantastic last night. Some of his passing was sublime.

Darlow - Awful so far. Hoping he can improve.

Lascelles - Getting the basics all wrong last night. Yet, on Sunday I thought he did well. Early days like Darlow.

Perez - Pure class. Head and shoulders above anyone else on the pitch last night. This kid is fantastic.

Mitrovic - I like him. Hardly in the game first half due to lack of decent service. Second half he had a couple of chances, was making his presence known and he's going to be a crowd favourite.

De Jong - Good first half, but faded a bit second. Some cracking passing and had a couple of decent shots.

Aarons - He was okay last night, but went off with cramp apparently. Keep him fit and he will have a big season

Elliott - Couple of decent saves when he came on, but not much to do otherwise.

Kemen - Showed flashes of quality. We need to keep this lad.

Big shout to Lewis Suddick who made his debut. Didn't really do much to be fair but he's just a kid.

 

Nice review. I also hope the club keep Abeid, Kemen and Aarons. Good kids.
